Manage Opportunity Assessment Rating Descriptions
Use this screen to view and maintain opportunity assessment rating descriptions that you can use to evaluate opportunities.
If you have multiple companies, you can set up and maintain opportunity assessment rating codes in any company and use them across all companies. The rating code and description, however, must be unique in a single Costpoint database.
Each code has a corresponding description that helps you assess the opportunity. You can assign rating codes to assessment formats on the Manage Opportunity Assessment Formats screen. When the format is selected on the Assessments tab of the Manage Opportunities screen, the rating codes and descriptions assigned to the format display on the Opportunity Assessment Details subtask on the same tab. You can then rate the opportunity on each rating description on a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 representing very good).
There are 9 system-defined rating codes on this screen, but you can also add your own. You cannot delete Costpoint-defined codes. You can delete user-entered codes only if the format associated with them has not been used in any opportunity assessment, or the codes are not assigned to any assessment format at all. Similarly, you can modify system- and user-defined descriptions only if the format associated with them has not been used in any opportunity assessment.
