Turning off effective cost
Before you begin
- Complete the payroll cycle for effective cost projects.
- Complete the billing cycle for effective cost projects. After turning off effective cost, you cannot reconcile the Salaries Payable account and bill work-in-progress for effective cost projects.
To turn off effective cost
- From the
> Setup menu, click Company > Preferences. - On the Payroll tab, clear the Use effective cost check box.
- Click Close.
