Entering a new project from a project widget

Before you begin

• Verify that you have the appropriate designing security to enable the New button.
• Verify you have the appropriate security access to create new projects.

To enable the new button on a project widget

1. Click > to open Design mode, and click the tab the project widget is on.

2. Click to open the widget menu and click Edit.
3. In the Task Options section, check the Enable "New" button check box.
4. Click Save.

A New button will now be available below the widget header.

To enter a new project

1. Click the New button on the widget.

This will launch the ClickOnce application.

2. Select one of the following options:

• New project
• Copy existing project
• Copy Resources and Tasks
• Copy Rates and Amounts
• Create from template

3. Click Create.
4. Enter project information (Skip to step 2).
