Setting up the Project Information Management (PIM) integration

Not available in ajeraCore or ajeraCore + add-ons

To setup PIM

  1. From > Setup menu, click Company > Preferences> Integration tab.
  1. Click the PIM tab.
  2. Enter the PIM URL.
  3. Enter the PIM Shared Secret.
  4. Click Test to test the connection to the server.
Note: You cannot enable PIM or select any of the Integrate options until you test the connection.
  1. Check the Enable PIM box.
Note:

When you enable PIM, the integration client and integration vendor from the contact record will now be pre-populated based on the information on the Contacts tab for the client and vendors.

  1. In the Integrate field, check any of the following boxes to sync the data to PIM:
  • Projects
  • Clients
  • Contacts
  • Employees
  • Vendors
  1. Click Save.
  2. PIM widgets and tabs are imported.

Navigate to the widgets and set up the Tab security.

  • On the Home page:
  • PIM Information Zone
  • PIM Personal Zone
  • On the Project page:
  • PIM Project Documents
  • On the Client page:
  • PIM Client Documents
  • On the Employee page:
  • PIM Employee Documents
  • On the Vendor page:
  • PIM Vendor Documents
  • On the Contact page:
