Multiple Languages and Reporting

You can create a favorite report or a set of saved options in any of the languages you have available. You can then generate the favorite report in that language at any time without being logged in to Vision in that language.

The presentation currency (if the report has that option) and data formatting that you select when you create the favorite are also preserved, so you can generate reports completely tailored for a different culture than the one on which your settings in Regional and Language Options in Windows Control Panel are based.

Standard Vision reports, in contrast to favorites, are always generated in the language you specified when you logged in for your current session, unless you generate the report using a saved set of options created for a different language.

To create a report that you always generate in a specific language:

  1. Log in to Vision and select the language in which you want to generate the report.

  2. Set up report options.

  3. Save the report as a favorite.

Vision saves the language for your current session as part of the favorite settings. You can then generate the report in that language regardless of the active language for your current Vision session.

If you prefer, you can save the report options, including the language, as a saved set of options rather than creating a favorite report.
