Revision Audit History Dialog Box

The Revision Audit History dialog box lists, by date, the number of revisions that have been made to the timesheet, the changes that were made to each field, and a brief explanation for each revision.

Location

To display the dialog box, complete the following steps:
  1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Time & Expense > Timesheet.
  2. Open a timesheet.
  3. From the Show menu, select Revision Audit.

Revision Audit History

Field Description
Employee This field displays the name of the employee.
Timesheet Period This field displays the timesheet period for the revision audit.

When you save or submit the revision, the date and time of the revision, as well as the person responsible for submitting the timesheet, are saved in the revision records that are associated with the timesheet in the database. Each time the timesheet is revised and saved or submitted, the revision records will update. This information is then used on the Timesheet Detail and Timesheet Revision reports, which are useful in the event of an audit.

Field Description
Revision This non-editable field displays the number of revisions that are recorded for the timesheet.
Revision Date This field displays the date of the timesheet record and includes all transfers that occurred within the specified time period.
Revision By This field displays the name of the person responsible for the revision.
Status This field displays the status of the timesheet during the revision. A revision entry is made each time the status of the timesheet changes.
Explanation This field displays the explanation that was entered for the revision. Click the explanation's link to view its entire contents in the Text Viewer. You cannot modify the explanation.
Revision Number This non-editable field displays the number of revisions that are recorded for the timesheet.

Revision Audit Grid

When you save or submit the revision, the date of the revision, as well as the levels of the work breakdown structure, labor code, labor category, and a description of the revision are saved in the revision records that are associated with the timesheet in the database. Each time the timesheet is revised and saved or submitted, the revision records will update. This information is then used on the Timesheet Detail and Timesheet Revision reports, which are useful in the event of an audit.

Field Description

Phase This field displays the phase to which the time was transferred.
Task This field displays the task to which the time was transferred.
