Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Set Up Vantagepoint Intelligence

Vantagepoint Intelligence (VI) is an optional module that you can use to create customized views of your information. Customers who subscribe to the Vantagepoint Intelligence module have access to additional dashboard and data visualization functions.

The VI Desktop Tool allows you to connect VI to your Vantagepoint SQL database or Analysis Cubes as a data source and create graphical performance dashboards. You create these dashboards in the VI Desktop Tool and upload them into Vantagepoint using Intelligence Settings. You can then view the dashboards in the Vantagepoint Dashboards application.

Users of the Vantagepoint Intelligence module should:

  • Learn about the basic VI concepts by reviewing the following Vantagepoint online help topic in Settings > General > Intelligence: Vantegepoint Intelligence Overview.
  • Learn about Analysis Cube concepts by reviewing the following Vantagepoint online help topic in Settings > General > Analysis Cubes: Analysis Cubes.
  • Download and install the VI Desktop Tool, which lets you create custom data visualization maps. You can see these visualization maps in the Desktop Tool or publish them to your Vantagepoint environment.
