Set Up Timesheet Reports to Print Automatically

You can have your timesheet report print automatically when you submit a timesheet.

To set up a timesheet report to print automatically when you submit:
  1. In the Navigation pane, select My Stuff > Timesheet.
  2. Click on the Timesheets form.
  3. Under Print Report When Submitted on the Timesheet Settings dialog box, select one of the following:

    Detailed Timesheet This option prints a Detailed Timesheet report that displays timesheet entries by employee and labor period. The report includes all information entered on the timesheet.
    Summarized Timesheet This option prints a Summarized Timesheet report, a more compact report that does not display names of work breakdown structure elements or timesheet comments.
  4. To print timesheet data for each project on a separate page, select Page Break by Project.
  5. To include information in the report that identifies the start time, end time, meal, meal-2, and breaks, select Include Start/End Time Report.

    This check box displays only if Enable Start/End Time is set to Yes in Settings > Time > Options and Require Employee to Enter Start and End Times is enabled on the Time & Expense tab of the Employees hub.

    If Start/End Time Entry is set to By Day in Settings > Time > Options, then the information is displayed in a separate Start/End section in the report. If Start/End Time Entry is set to By Project, then the information is included with the other project details on the report.

  6. To include revision audit information on the report, select Include Revision Audit Report.
    This check box displays only if Enable Revision Audit is set to Yes in Settings > Time > Timesheet Audit.
  7. Click Save.
