Consultant Accruals and QuickBooks Integration

Enter and post consultant accruals in Vantagepoint.

You create consultant accruals in PSA > Consultant Accruals in Vantagepoint.

You post the journal entries for them in Vantagepoint Transaction Center > Transaction Entry > Journal Entries.

After you create and post the journal entries in Vantagepoint, the journal entries are added to QuickBooks Online the next time that the automatic or manual updating occurs between Vantagepoint and QuickBooks Online.

In QuickBooks Online, you see the Vantagepoint journal entries in the following locations:

  • Reports > Accountant Reports > Journal
  • Accounting > Chart of Accounts
  • Search (magnifying glass icon in the toolbar) > Advanced Search: In the transactions search field, select Journal Entries

Note: The help topics direct you to the Consultant Accruals application in Accounting > Consultant Accruals. However, when you use the PSA module and QuickBooks integration, you will not see Accounting in the Navigation pane. Instead, you see PSA.
