Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Use a Simple Search on a Previewed Report

After running a report, you can search for specific data in the report.

Use the Find and Find Next fields on the report toolbar to search a report for a specific string of characters. Vantagepoint finds the word or characters and allows you to scroll through and review all instances contained within the report.

The search only locates fields that are visible when you perform the search. Search doesn't find data that is hidden in collapsed groups.
