Project/Phase/Task Lookup

Use the Project/Phase/Task lookup to add a project, and any associated phases and tasks, to the current record.

On this dialog box, you select a project and related levels from a single view. This is particularly helpful when you want to be sure that you are working at the lowest level of the work breakdown structure (WBS).

The information displayed on the dialog box is dynamic, based on the project that you select:

  • If you select a project with phases, the Projects pane shifts to accommodate display of the Phases pane. If you then select a phase with tasks, the first two panes shift, and the Tasks pane also displays.
  • If you select a project without any phases (or tasks), only the Projects pane displays.
