Send a Message to a Candidate from the Résumé Dashboard

Follow these steps to send text messages to candidates on the Actions tab of the Résumé Dashboard.

An administrator must set up and configure integration with Twilio SMS to enable this functionality. For more information see Twilio SMS Integration with Talent Management in the Talent Info Center Help.

To message a candidate from the Actions tab of the Résumé Dashboard:

  1. Access a candidate's Résumé Dashboard by performing a quick search from the Search function at the very top of the screen.
    1. Select Candidate from the drop-down list.
    2. Enter a name or part of a name and press Enter or click the magnifying icon.
  2. In the Search Candidates list, click the candidate name.
  3. Click the Actions tab.
  4. Expand the Send a Text Message section and enter the following:
    1. Receiver's Number: The Receiver's number is auto-populated with the candidate's mobile phone number, as saved in the Résumé Dashboard account. Note that there are multiple fields for phone number in the Résumé Dashboard account. If your company uses only the Phone Numbers field and this field is set to Mobile, this number is populated here. If your company uses the Phone Numbers field and the Mobile Phone Number field, the number entered in the Mobile Phone Number field takes precedent and is pre-populated here.
    2. Text Message:Enter the text message to send to the candidate.
  5. Click Send.
    An SMS sent successfully message displays, and a new entry is added to the history displayed beneath the Send and Reset buttons. The entry contains the following information:
    • Date and time the message was sent
    • Whether the message was sent or received
    • The user who sent the message
    • The candidate's phone number
    • Status: Queued, Accepted, Sent, Delivered, Received, Failed

    If there are no messages sent yet to the candidate, No results to display appears here.
