Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

SpecText Supported Content

In Specpoint, use SpecText as part of the baseline content for your project specifications to focus more on infrastructure requirements.

Important: The availability of the SpecText content library and supporting features depends on your license for Specpoint. For more information and/or to enable SpecText support for your firm, contact your Deltek onboarder.

SpecText is a master guide specification library that focuses more on infrastructure than typical vertical construction. These include civil projects, such as water treatment facilities, excavation and trenching, and landscaping.

Once enabled, SpecText is integrated with Deltek Specpoint as an additional content resource for developing standardized and high-quality infrastructure project specifications. Within Specpoint, the SpecText library provides detailed specifications, that consist of various project elements and respective content items and works with both Specpoint project formats. SpecText content integrates seamlessly in Specpoint projects. Moreover, supported features enable you to work on this content source type similarly to how you would with MasterSpec.
