Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Select an Assembly (Classic Workspace)

Select an assembly element in the Project Elements pane to load its performance requirements onto the element form of the classic workspace for viewing, adding, and editing.

This selection enables you to perform actions with the assembly element, such as adding it to or removing it from the project.

To select an assembly:

  1. Open a project in the classic project workspace.
  2. In the Categories pane of the classic workspace, select a project category.
  3. In the Project Elements pane, filter the list of elements to use Assemblies view/UniFormat for your project.
    You can also search for an assembly.

Perform steps 4 through 6 as applicable to the following assembly elements that you want to add: assembly group, subassembly group, or subassembly type.

  1. Select an assembly element (assembly group).
    You expanded the assembly and displayed its child subassemblies.
  2. Under the assembly (assembly group), select an assembly element (subassembly group).
    You expanded the assembly and displayed its child subassemblies.
  3. Under the assembly (subassembly group), click an assembly element (subassembly type).
    You expanded the assembly and displayed its child families.
