Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Preview an Uploaded Family or Product Type

As an administrator or author, preview the contents of an uploaded family or product type. This enables you to view and verify the content that Specpoint converted before you import the element into your project.

To preview an uploaded family or product type:

  1. Open the Import page for a project.
  2. In the uploaded elements pane on the Import page, select the uploaded family or product type.
  3. Click Preview.
  4. On the import preview tab, preview the available content items.
    You can perform the following actions in the preview:
    • Click the General, Product, or Execution tab to view each part's respective articles and paragraphs.
    • Click Expand All or Collapse All to show or hide all paragraphs.
    • For an article, click or to show or hide its paragraphs.
    Note: The platform designates the content from the uploaded file to the converted family or its product types. If the content that you want to view is not available in the family, it may be in one of its product types. Similarly, if the content that you want to view is not in the product type, search for it in the family or its other product types.
