Contents of the Header & Footer Editor
Use the contents of this editor to specify and format content in the headers and footers of the active project's pages.
Template Options
The following options and elements are available:

| This option is available only to

Click this button to delete the active or selected header & footer template on the Headers & Footers tab. |

Click this button to create a copy of the active or selected header & footer template on the Headers & Footers tab. |

| Last Modified | This indicates when the template was last modified. |
| Enable Preview | Select this option to view the actual values of the added merge fields in the editor. Clear this option to view the merge field names. |
Formatting Toolbar
On this toolbar, the following options are available:

Click this button to toggle bold formatting for the text. |
| Italic

Click this button to toggle italicized formatting for the text. |
| Underline

Click this button to toggle an underline for the text. |

Select the font size. |

Select the font face or type. |
| Font Color
|
Click and select the font color for the text. |
| Select a Merge Field | Select a merge field to add to the selected position.
Merge fields are items with variable content that you can add to your headers & footers. These fields typically pertain to your A/E firm's information or your project's attributes. If a merge field has no value, it does not display in the exported project files and section preview. For more information, see Merge Field. |

Click this button to center the text. |

Click this button to align the text right. |
This toolbar is available only when you position your cursor for entering text or when you select text in the editor.
Content Editor
The editor has the following contents for your headers and footers:

| Header | This space enables you to enter and format text in the page header. To organize your content, you can set the number of columns into which to divide the header through the
Columns in Header field.
By default, the header has three columns and the following contents:

| Body of the Section Placeholder | This is a placeholder that demonstrates the space that the body of the section content uses. | |||
| Footer | This space enables you to enter and format text in the page footer. To organize your content, you can set the number of columns into which to divide the footer through the
Columns in Footer field.
By default, the footer has two columns and the following contents:

| Copyright Information | Below the footer, this text indicates copyright information for your project specifications. Enter and format copyright information in this space. This text has a limit of 450 characters and is uneditable in your exported project files.
