Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Filter Product Listings (General Browsing)

Filter product listings in the Product Listings window to quickly find a specific product listing or to show only products that fit a specific criteria.

Tip: Product filters work with other filters and enable you to perform multiple actions for selection. For more information, see Product Filter Rules and Mechanics.

To view and filter product listings:

  1. On the top menu, click .
  2. In the home dashboard, in the Recently Listed widget, click View All.
  3. In the Product Listings window, click the Products tab to view premium MasterSpec, premium, and manufacturer listings. To view related products/premium proprietary listings, click the Related Products tab.

Note: You can specify any combination of filters.

  1. In the Families field, select one or multiple family elements for which the products are applicable.
  2. In the Product Types field, select one or multiple product type elements for which the products are applicable.
  3. In the Manufacturers field, select one or multiple building product manufacturers that offer the product listings.
  4. To filter product listings by only listings added to project, select (Added to Project).
  5. To filter product listings by only listings flagged for review, select (Flagged for Review).
  6. To filter product listings by listing type, select Premium MasterSpec and/or Premium.
  7. To filter product listings by only listings that include manufacturer options, select Manufacturer Options.
  8. To filter product listings by only listings that include sustainability resources or partnerships, such as Sustainable Minds, select Sustainability.
  9. To filter product listings by only listings that include BIM resources, such as BIMsmith, select BIM.
  10. To clear all filter option selection, click Clear All.
  11. View the resulting filtered list of product listings.
