User Permissions
User permissions determine what individual users can access and perform in Specpoint based on their functions for their firm or company.
Each user has one user permission. User permissions provide users with access to the pages and options necessary to perform their specific tasks for their organization. User permissions also limit the access of each user within the scope of their tasks.
For example, in an A/E firm, an author can view, create, and modify project specifications but cannot view, create, or edit users within the A/E firm.
The following permissions are available for an A/E firm:
- Administrator
- Author
- Contributor
Additionally, each account has a designated account administrator who sets up the A/E firm account and addresses technical aspects of Specpoint.
