  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Manufacturer Property Paragraphs

Use this paragraph to describe a product type property that includes manufacturer options for your project specifications. This enables you to specify product requirements based on the manufacturer specifications of your selected products.

A manufacturer property paragraph is similar to a MasterSpec product type property paragraph in that both paragraphs describe a property of a product requirement in your project specification.

A manufacturer property paragraph's key feature is its included manufacturer options. The manufacturer options in this paragraph are based on the product listings that you added for the product type. This paragraph enables you to include manufacturer-specific product properties and/or property options in your project. These manufacturer options neither filter product listings nor aid in product selection. Manufacturer property paragraphs are available in the following elements:

In the project workspace, the paragraph and its option icons display in blue. Manufacturer property paragraphs have the following types:

Type Paragraph
MasterSpec Property with Manufacturer Options This manufacturer property paragraph is a MasterSpec product type property paragraph with added manufacturer options. In the paragraph's option set, the MasterSpec options display as orange pills while manufacturer options display as blue pills.

Manufacturer Property (Only Manufacturer Options) This manufacturer property paragraph is based on an additional manufacturer property, which contains only manufacturer options. In the paragraph's option set, the manufacturer options display as blue pills.
