Change a Weblink Password

This procedure allows you to change your current EPM Security Weblink logon password. Before any user can use the Weblink utility for the first time, you (as the system administrator) must set up the Weblink password. After the password is set, any user with the password can access the utility from any computer on the network via the Weblink URL.

To change the password, complete the following steps:

  1. Log on to Weblink. How?

When the utility opens, the General tab displays by default.

  1. On the toolbar, click Change Password. The Change Password dialog box displays.

  2. In the New Password field, enter your preferred password using at least six alphanumeric and special characters.

  3. In the Repeat Password field, verify the password that you have specified in the previous field by re-entering it. The value of this field must match the value of the previous field.

  4. Click Change Password. If the new password does not meet the requirements, an error message displays. Otherwise, a confirmation message displays.

  5. Click OK.
