Store the Session State

This procedure allows you to select a location where you want to save the session state in the EPM Security Weblink utility. When the Weblink utility opens, the General tab displays by default.

To store session state, complete the following steps:

1. In the Weblink utility, click the System Settings tab.

2. In the Store Session State field, you can select either In Memory or In Database Server.

By default, the In Memory option is selected. The Test button on the application toolbar and all fields in the Database Setup group box are disabled.

3. In the Database Setup group box, enter or modify necessary information.

Selecting the Windows Authentication option disables the SQL Username and SQL Password fields, allowing you or anyone assigned as the administrator to use the Windows user name and password instead.

4. When you are done, on the application toolbar, click Save.

If you choose to save the session in the database server, proceed to the next step.

5. To test the database connection, on the application toolbar, click Test » Database Connection.
