Entering Actual Activity Costs

Use this procedure to enter actual activity costs.

To enter actual activity costs without reference to resources:

1. Open the project for which you want to enter actual activity costs.

2. Ensure that a resource file containing at least one resource has been assigned to the project.

3. Select the appropriate activity, and click Progress in the Dialogs menu group of the Edit tab.

4. In the Activity Progress dialog box, click the Resources tab.

5. In the Start Date and End Date fields, define the period covered by the actual cost.

6. In the Actual Cost field, enter the actual cost for the activity.

7. Click Apply.
