String Transformation Types Fields

This section describes the fields and actions on the String Transformation Types workspace.

Header Fields

Field	Description
String Transformation Type Name	This field displays the name of the string transformation type.

Header Actions

Action	Description
+ New String Transformation Type	Click this action to create a string transformation type.
	Click this action to refresh data in the current workspace.
	Click this action to display the list view. Click this action to display the detailed view.
Save	Click this action to save changes to the current string transformation type.
Revert	Click this action to undo the changes made to the current string transformation type.
Test	Click this action to transform the sample string and view the result in the Output field.
Delete String Transformation Type	Click this action to delete the string transformation type.
	Click this action to export the rows from the current table to a spreadsheet. Maconomy exports the table, and immediately downloads the resulting spreadsheet to your local drive.
	Click this action to display the filter row on the current table. You can then enter criteria in any of the filter row fields to display only select table rows.
	Click this action to maximize the table view. Click this action to restore the default display size of the table.
	Click this action to open the Customize Columns dialog box.

Card Fields

Field	Description
Remove Prefix	In this field, you can specify the prefix that must be removed at the beginning of each string.
Add Prefix	In this field, you can specify a prefix to be added at the beginning of each string.
Remove Suffix	In this field, you can specify the suffix that must be removed at the end of the string.
Add Suffix	In this field, you can specify a suffix to be added at the end of the string.
Remove Spaces	Select this checkbox if you want remove spaces from a given string.
Remove Dashes	Select this checkbox if you want remove dashes from a given string.
ISO Code to Country Name	Select this checkbox to convert the ISO Code to Country Name.

Test Transformation Fields

Field	Description
Input	In this field, you can specify the sample string that you want to transform.
Output	This field displays the resulting string after the applied transformation.
