Standard Exchange Rate Table on System Exchange Rate Tables

You can assign a standard exchange rate table to a job or customer specific exchange rate table.

Then, the system uses the standard exchange rate table if you do not specify an exchange rate table to the job specific exchange rate table.

This enhancement introduces the same functionality to the system exchange rate tables for easier migration to a company specific exchange rate table, where you can use the Standard Exchange Rate Table field in the Exchange Rates workspace and Exchange Rate Tables single dialog workspace. You can use the standard exchange rate table on system exchange rate tables

You cannot use a system exchange rate table with a standard exchange rate table as a standard exchange rate table for another system exchange rate table. Maconomy performs a triangulation in the reference currency. Thus, the system calculates the conversion from the foreign currency to the transaction currency on an exchange rate table with the reference currency as a conversion from foreign currency to reference currency and then, from reference currency to transaction currency. Additionally, if you do not specify an exchange rate table, Maconomy uses the standard exchange rate table and performs a triangulation through the reference currency on the standard exchange rate table.

Note that as part of Company Specific Exchange Rate enhancement in 2.6, the triangulation through the enterprise currency is removed.
