Maconomy is a project-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution that integrates projects, finances and people / resources.

For our customers, it is a financial management solution that provides financial insight with abilities from creating a project to budgeting, evaluating progress to invoicing and project closure. It connect front-office project delivery to back-office financial management, allowing for control over projects. Its reporting and filtering capabilities provide visibility into past performance, current status, and anticipated results. Provides global statutory compliance strategy including a baseline audit, statutory-related functionality, and localization packages to meet country-specific regulatory requirements.

  • Maconomy has three user interfaces: Workspace Client (on-premise), web client (the web-browser interface), and Touch (the mobile application).
  • It includes BPM (reporting) and integrates with People Planner (graphical resource and project planning).
  • It includes three solutions: Standard, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and Professional Services Organizations (PSO) (we generally document to the standard version).
  • Our main customers include consulting firms, marketing communications firms, other knowledge-intensive organizations, and project-based companies.
  • Main modules include finance (G/L, A/P, and A/R), time and expense, and job costing functionalities.

Maconomy is comprised of two main areas: Workspaces / modules, and Single Dialogs. The workspaces are where our users spend the majority of time. Single Dialogs are intended for consultants / super-users. These dialogs are the components on which (most) workspaces are based, and super-users may use these components to customize their workspaces. We document procedures in the workspaces, and field descriptions and overviews in the Single Dialogs.
