Job Cost Concepts
The Job Cost module enables you to manage and account for jobs and project-oriented work.
Using this module you can create budgets; record usage of time, sale of goods, and other job costs; and invoice customers on the basis of these records. In addition to this, you can generate reports on jobs, employees, profitability, and so on.
Job Creation Each new job must have a unique number. In this context, a number does not necessary have to consist of digits, but can be any text. If you do not specify a job number when you create the job, Maconomy will name the job for you according to a list of sequential numbers.
You can add unique user numbers to your customers. The end user information is obtained from the delivery customer, and not from the billing customer and is displayed in the End User No. field. You can also customize your columns in the Jobs workspace to include the end user numbers.
