This section includes the fields and descriptions for the Conversation Type tab.
Conversation Type island
Field | Description |
---|---|
Name | Use this field to enter a unique conversation type name. You cannot modify this field once you save the information.
Note: You can apply conversations to other areas in Maconomy by creating new conversation types, and adding these to the workspace layouts.

Database Relation | Use this field to select the database relation for the conversation type. You cannot modify this field once you save the information. |
Description | Enter a description of the conversation type. |
Enabled | Select this check box to enable a conversation type. If deselected, you cannot use the conversation type for new conversations, and you cannot modify existing conversations classified under the conversation type. Furthermore, all unread messages will be marked as read and the corresponding notifications will be removed. |
Standard Type | This field shows whether the conversation type is a standard type. Standard types are included in the Maconomy setup. You cannot create new standard types, or delete existing ones. |

This section shows the actions available in the Conversation Types workspace.
Field | Description |

New Conversation Type | Use this action to create a new conversation type. |
Delete Conversation Type | Use this action to delete conversation types. You cannot delete standard conversation types, or other types with existing conversations. |
