Conversation island

Field Description
Conversation Type

In this field, you can select a conversation type. This is particularly useful to distinguish conversations belonging to the same object. For example, you have one conversation type for job information, and another for invoice selection.

Database Relation This field is read-only, and is based on the conversation type.
Object Instance Key Use this field to enter an instance key in order to link a conversation to a specific object. Alternatively, you can fill in the key fields and Maconomy automatically fills in the instance key. For each type, you can have only one conversation for an object.
Key Field 1-3 Use these fields to select which row the conversation is linked to. When you select a conversation type, these fields become available which then show the first key field for the specified table. For example, if you select JobHeader, the field shows JobNumber.
Conversation Title This field shows the conversation title.
