UDT09 Links Tab of the UDT02 Screen

Each link tab displays a table of the linked items of the current UDT09. Use the UDT09 Links tab of the UDT02 screen to add and/or delete UDT09 links.

Different column headings and data display in the table depending on whether you are using Direct or Wildcard links.

The Add Link function also performs differently depending on the configuration setting for the type of link.

UDT09 Table (Direct Link)

Note: These columns display if you are using Direct links.

Field	Description
UDT09	This non-editable column displays the currently linked UDT09s.
Description	This non-editable column displays the currently linked UDT09 descriptions.

UDT09 Table (Wildcard Link)

Note: These columns display if you are using Wildcard links.

Field	Description
UDT02	This non-editable column displays the currently linked UDT02.
UDT09	This non-editable column displays the currently linked wildcard UDT09s.
Add Link (Direct Link)	Note: This section describes how the Add Link function works for Direct links.
	Select the Add Link function to add direct UDT09 links to the UDT02.  A Lookup dialog will display in which you can select UDT09 records.  Select the button to the left of the rows in the Lookup dialog, then select OK to add the UDT09 links to the project.
Add Link (Wildcard Link)	Note: This section describes how the Add Link function works for Wildcard links.
	Select the Add Link function to bring up the Add UDT09 Wildcard Link dialog.
UDT02	The current UDT02 value is the default for this field. You can edit this field to use the % or _ wildcard characters.
UDT09	Enter the UDT09 that you want to link, including wildcard characters. For example, enter %123 to include all UDT09s that end in 123.  Select the Options button for more examples.
OK	Select OK to add the UDT09 link to the database. The link will display in the UDT09 table.
Cancel	Select Cancel to close the dialog without adding the link.
Options	Select the Options button to see additional wildcard examples.
Delete Link	Select the UDT09 link or links that you wish to delete by selecting the check box to the left of the row. To delete all of the links in the table, select the check box in the upper left corner of the table. This will select all of the rows. Then select the Delete Link function to delete the row(s).
