The Summary Results tab shows overall charge data for the timesheet lines. It displays if you select
None for the
Level 1 drill down on the Criteria tab of the TS Line Level Approval screen. The summary results display with the option of drilling down to additional charge details.
Screen Fields
A graphical representation of the drill-down displays at the top of the screen as you drill down through the levels. Each level above the current level displays as a link in the graphical display. Select any of these links to display the information at that level.
The charges that display in the Results tab table depend on the criteria you selected in the Criteria tab and your approval rights as a supervisor.
Note: Due to the dynamic nature of timesheet data, the hours displayed in this screen may not reflect the true number of hours for the charges if an employee updated his/her hours after you hit
Execute.

"+" Button

In order to drill down into the information for a charge, select the "+" button to the left of the row. If you selected a Level 1 on the Criteria tab, the information for that level displays. If you did not select a Level 1, the detail information for the charge displays.

UDT01 or UDT02
|
This non-editable column displays the selected charge IDs.
UDT01 or
UDT02 abbreviations display instead of IDs if your configuration was set to use abbreviations. See the help for
Entry by Abbreviation
on the UDT Options tab of the General Configuration screen for more information.

Description
|
This non-editable column displays the line description for the charge.
|
Regular Hours
|
If the
Approval Status is Approved, this non-editable column displays the sum of approved regular hours for the charge, for the selected
Schedule,
Year, and
Period from the Criteria tab.
If the
Approval Status is either Pending Approval or Rejected, this non-editable column displays the sum of the regular hours, less any approved regular hours.
Cost-only hours are not included in this column.

Overtime Hours
|
If the
Approval Status is Approved, this non-editable column displays the sum of approved overtime hours for the charge, for the selected
Schedule,
Year, and
Period from the Criteria tab.
If the
Approval Status is either Pending Approval or Rejected, this non-editable column displays the sum of the entered overtime hours, less any approved overtime hours.
Cost-only hours are not included in this column.

Approve Charges
|
Select a charge row, then click
Approve Charges to approve the charges for the row. If the timesheet is available, the timesheet line, timesheet cell, and timesheet header tables are updated with the approval information.
If the timesheet is not available, the error message "There are employee timesheet(s) that are unavailable. Please select the Details button for a list of employee information." displays.
Select
Details to list each unavailable timesheet. The employee name, employee ID (if configured to show employee IDs), timesheet schedule, and timesheet period ending date display.
The table is refreshed when the approval is complete. For example, if you select the Pending Approval status and approve one of the rows, the approved row no longer appear appears in the table after the table refreshes. If all records in the table have been approved, the message "There are no more records to display." appears.

Reject Charges

Select a charge row, then click Reject Charges to reject a timesheet charge line. A Reject Charges dialog displays so you can enter a reason for the rejection.
You can select multiple rows for rejection, giving each row a different reason using the Reject Charges dialog.

Select All
|
Select the check box in the upper left corner of the Results table to select all displayed charges.
|
Regular Hours
|
This non-editable field displays the total regular hours for the charges in the table, excluding cost-only hours.
|
Overtime Hours
|
This non-editable field displays the total overtime hours for the charges in the table, excluding cost-only hours.
|
