Polling Group

Detail Form: Polling Group Detail

A Polling Group contains transaction data that is grouped together, so that when transaction data that belongs to a specific polling group is downloaded, all transaction data belonging to the same polling group is also downloaded. Polling Groups are created on the Polling Group form. The grouping of transaction data is configured on the Polling Group Detail form.

Polling Group Field Descriptions

Interface Name

Displays the Interface Name that this record applies to. Interface names are configured on the Interface form.

Polling Group

Identifies the name of the group.

Full Sync Date

Represents the date when the system last uploaded or downloaded ALL available data for this record.

Last Increment Date

Represents the date when the system uploaded or downloaded incremental data for this record.

Update Date, Updated By

These fields display when the record was created or updated, and the person who created or updated the record.

 

Add a Polling Group

  1. Click Main Menu > Configuration > Interfaces > Database Polling > Polling Group.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Select an Interface Name.

  4. Enter a Polling Group name.

  5. Click Save. To add transaction names to the group, see Polling Group Detail.

 

Copy a Polling Group

  1. Click Main Menu > Configuration > Interfaces > Database Polling > Polling Group.

  2. Select the group you want to copy and click Copy.

  3. Modify the Interface Name or Polling Group.

  4. Click Save. The details of the Polling Group are copied into the new record.

 

Delete a Polling Group

  1. Click Main Menu > Configuration > Interfaces > Database Polling > Polling Group.

  2. Select the group you want to delete and click Delete.

  3. Click OK to confirm the action.
