This feature allows a supervisor to view an employee’s schedule start and end on the Current Situation form based on the As Of Date and time selected in the filter area.
Normally, the Schedule Start Time and Schedule End Time columns on the Current Situation form show a person’s schedule based on the Posting Date you select in the Filter area. However, these fields may not show the schedule times for a person whose schedule crosses midnight, and whose Post Date Policy is configured to determine the post date based on the schedule. The supervisor will mistakenly think the person is not scheduled to work. Refer to the example below for more details.
You must enable the As Of Date fields in order to view a person’s schedule start and end times based on the As Of Date and time.

Enable the As Of Date Fields in Your Form Profile
The As Of Date filter field and the As Of Date Sch Start/As Of Date Sch End columns will not display in the Current Situation form by default. You will have to enable these fields in a custom Form Profile.
Click Main Menu > Configuration > Form Configuration > Form Profile.
Select the custom Form Profile Name that is assigned to the supervisors who will need to see the As Of fields in Current Situation.
On the left side of the form, click Web > Manage > Supervisor Review > Current Situation.
Click the Form Profile Detail tab.
In the Selection Criteria section, move the As Of Date field from the Available box to the Selected box.
In the Resultset Fields section, move the As Of Date Sch Start and As Of Date Sch End options from the Available box to the Selected box.
Click Save.
Person 1101 is scheduled to work from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday – Friday. Saturday and Sunday are days off and have no schedule. The schedule’s Applicable Start time is 6 p.m. (4 hours prior to the actual start time) and the Applicable End time is 11 a.m. (4 hours after the actual end time). The Post Date Policy is configured to determine the post date based on the schedule.
Person 1101 clocks in at 10 p.m. on Sunday.
At 10:15 p.m. on Sunday, the person’s supervisor checks the Current Situation form for Person 1101.
The Posting Date is the current date (Sunday).
The As Of Date is the current date and time (Sunday, 10:15 p.m.).
The person’s Current Status is Not Scheduled and the Schedule Start Time and Schedule End Time are both empty, even though the person is clocked in. These values display because the form is looking for a schedule based on the Posting Date (Sunday) for which there is no schedule. Based on these values, it would appear the person is not scheduled to work.
However, the person’s As Of Date Sch Start and As Of Date Sch End, will display the person’s scheduled start (Sunday 10 p.m.) and end (Monday 7 a.m.) times. When these fields are visible, the supervisor can correctly determine that the person is scheduled to work.
At 12:15 a.m. on Monday, the person’s supervisor checks the Current Situation form again for Person 1101.
The Posting Date is now the current date (Monday).
The As Of Date is also the current date and time (Monday, 12:15 a.m.).
The person’s Current Status now displays In and the Schedule Start Time and Schedule End Time display 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. respectively. These values display the schedule based on the Posting Date (Monday).
However, the person’s As Of Date Sch Start and As Of Date Sch End, will now be blank. The person’s schedule is already being correctly displayed in the Schedule Start Time and Schedule End Time columns and does not need to be displayed in the As Of columns.
At 7 a.m. on Monday, Person 1101 clocks out.
At 8:15 a.m. on Monday, the person’s supervisor checks the Current Situation form again for Person 1101.
The Posting Date is still the current date (Monday).
The As Of Date is also the current date and time (Monday, 8:15 a.m.).
The person’s Current Status now displays Out and the Schedule Start Time and Schedule End Time display 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. respectively. These values display the schedule based on the Posting Date (Monday).
Again, the person’s As Of Date Sch Start and As Of Date Sch End will be blank. The person’s schedule is already being correctly displayed in the Schedule Start Time and Schedule End Time columns and does not need to be displayed in the As Of columns.
