Requirements for Temporary Password Generation

Prepare to generate random passwords using the following steps.

Prior to enabling Temporary Password Generation, you must do the following:

Set up the email server information on the Company Settings tab of the Configure System Settings screen.
Enter the Email Name (address) for the end user on the Workflow tab of the Manage Users screen.
Set the Authentication Method for the user to either Costpoint Database or Windows Domain & Costpoint Database as defined on the Authentication tab of the Manage Users screen.
