GLC Labor Summary Subtask

Use this subtask to view project labor grouped by the GLC charged.

Costpoint posts employee timesheet detail to the Labor History table as part of the Labor Distribution posting.

The report table creation process for the Labor Summary report summarizes this information by project, fiscal year, period, and GLC. Because data displayed in this table window is from the Project Labor Summary Report table, you must create that table for the project needed before using the inquiry.

View Project Activity

Field Description
Rate Type

This non-editable field displays the rate type associated with the option selected on the main screen.

Fiscal Year

This non-editable field displays the fiscal year that you entered when you created the project report table.

Period

This non-editable field displays the period that you entered when you created the project report table.

Project

This non-editable field displays the project associated with the line selected on the main screen.

Organization

This non-editable field displays the organization associated with the line selected on the main screen.

Period of Performance

This non-editable field displays the period of performance associated with the project selected on the main screen.

Customer Name

This non-editable field displays the customer name for the project selected on the main screen.

Contract Value

These non-editable fields display the contract value information.

Field Description
Cost

This non-editable field displays the cost portion of the contract value for the project on the main screen.

Fee

This non-editable field displays the fee portion of the contract value for the project on the main screen.

Total

This non-editable field displays the total contract value for the project on the main screen.

Hours

These non-editable fields display the hours by period, YTD, and ITD for the GLC.

Amount

These non-editable fields display the amount by period, YTD, and ITD for the GLC.

Table Window

The labor summary table window summarizes labor charges for the project and organization selected by GLC. The table window displays period-to-date, year-to-date, and inception-to-date hours and amounts charged to each GLC. The current period is selected by you, and is carried forward from the main screen. The year-to-date (YTD) and inception-to-date (ITD) fields are as of the period selected.

GLC

This non-editable field displays the GLC that was charged to this project.

GLC Description

This non-editable field displays the description of the GLC displayed in the GLC field.

Period Hours

This non-editable field displays the period hours associated with this project and GLC.

Period Amount

This non-editable field displays the period amount associated with this project and the GLC.

YTD Hours

This non-editable field displays the hours on a year-to-date basis associated with this project and the GLC.

YTD Amount

This non-editable field displays the amount on a year-to-date basis associated with this project and the GLC.

ITD Hours

This non-editable field displays the hours on a inception-to-date basis associated with this project and the GLC.

ITD Amount

This non-editable field displays the amount on a inception-to-date basis associated with this project and the GLC.
