Auto Run Closing Plans

Use this screen to automatically run tasks included in your closing plans.

This screen aids in your period-end process by submitting qualified tasks directly to the job queue for execution without the need for manual intervention.

To use this screen, first configure your plans on the Closing Plans screen.

For a plan to run automatically:

  • The Template and Completed and Closed checkboxes must not be selected.
  • A task assigned to the closing plan must have a Ready status and a Job ID, and its Auto checkbox must be selected.
  • The Assigned User must have access rights to all the applications that are run as part of the associated job.

Once these conditions are met, Costpoint validates the plan and tasks and then queues them for automatic processing.
