Prepare Records for Offline Mode
Use the Make Available Offline feature to prepare and access Costpoint application records in Offline mode.
To use the Make Available Offline feature:
Important: When you click
Make Available Offline, you enable Costpoint to prepare the application for Offline mode on that specific device or laptop only. You must follow the steps above on each laptop or device that you will use in Offline mode.
Note: After the initial use of
Make Available Offline, Costpoint stores the records and subtasks you visit within the application for offline access. As a result, you may see more records in Offline mode than you specifically requested.

After you make application records available for offline access, you can view the records in Offline mode. - Manage Offline Data
The Manage Offline Data window is an advanced option for maintaining your offline data. You do not need to use this window to prepare specific records for Offline mode.
