Link Users Subtask

Use this subtask of the Assign Journal Entry Approvers to Users screen to enter the names of the data entry staff employees whose journal entries a journal entry approver is authorized to approve or reject in preparation for posting.

Field Description
User

Enter, or click to select, the user ID of each employee whose journal entries this approver is authorized to approve.

Name

This non-editable field displays the name of the employee.

Approver JE Modifications

Select this check box to allow the approver to edit journal entries that this user creates and then approve the edited journal entry. Clear this check box to allow the approver to approve journal entries that this user creates but not allow the approver to edit the entries.

Approval Mode

This field displays the Adjusting Journal Entry (AJE) AI approval mode assigned to the user. It reflects the value of the same field in Configure JE Dela User Settings.

Note: For Costpoint Cloud, you can choose to opt in to this feature for the Costpoint 2025.4 release. The ability to opt in is temporary and will be removed when the feature becomes automatically enabled for all users as part of a future Costpoint release. See the Manage Opt-In Features topic for more information.
