Transfer Plaid Bank Transactions

Use this screen to download transactions from Plaid-supported banks and import them into Costpoint, and insert the downloaded transactions to bank statement tables for reconciliation.

Note: This functionality is available only on Costpoint Cloud.

This screen enables you to retrieve your bank transactions and import them to Costpoint through the integration between Costpoint and your bank accounts using the Plaid platform, a secure data transfer network that connects applications with financial institutions. Plaid acts as a bridge between your bank and Costpoint, allowing smooth communication and data exchange.

Before you can transfer transactions, you must configure bank integration settings on the Manage Plaid Bank Accounts screen. Once set up, use this screen to download transactions from your Plaid-supported bank accounts and import them directly into Costpoint.

Once you have downloaded transactions, you can use this screen to insert them into bank statement tables, enabling you to perform reconciliation without the need for manual data entry.
Note: For Costpoint Cloud, this feature is available as an opt-in and is enabled by default in the Costpoint 2025.4 release. You may choose to disable this feature if needed. The ability to opt in is temporary and will be removed when the feature becomes automatically enabled for all users as part of a future Costpoint release. See the Manage Opt-In Features topic for more information.

You can choose to run the Plaid bank transaction transfer process either in real time or as part of a scheduled batch. However, transfers can only be executed once every 24 hours. In contrast, you can update bank statement tables with downloaded transactions anytime.
