  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Manage Maintenance Types Screen

Use the fields and options to configure the Manage Maintenance Types screen.

Field Description
Maintenance Type Code

Enter the code assigned to the maintenance type. You can enter up to 12 characters in this field.

Description

Enter a description of the maintenance type. You can enter up to 60 characters in this field.

Maintenance Class

Select the Maintenance class from the drop-down list. The values are:

  • Repair
  • Preventive
  • Calibration
Default Frequency

Enter the frequency (in days or units) to indicate how often this maintenance type should typically be performed.

Default Freq Type

Select the Freq Type from the drop-down list. The values are:

  • Days
  • Units
Default Hours Reqd

Enter the number of hours typically required to perform this maintenance type.

Notes

Enter additional notes applicable to this maintenance type. You can enter up to 256 characters in this field.
