Manage Equipment

Use the Manage Equipment screen to define and track equipment used in the production process.

Equipment type can be a machine, tooling or test equipment. Once equipment is set up, you can link it to work centers and/or operations for reporting and capacity tracking.

This screen has three tabs:

  • Equipment Detail: Use this tab to enter fixed assets information, organization and details about the equipment.
  • Source Info: Use this tab to modify or view source information about the equipment.
  • Notes: Use this tab to enter additional notes about the equipment.

    Set up this screen when initializing Costpoint Routings and maintain it whenever modifications are made to equipment.
