Add an Opportunity in Resource Planning

If your firm did not activate the CRM module, use the Add Opportunity form in the Resource Planning workspace to add a new opportunity for which you want to start a resource plan. If your firm has activated the CRM module, add the opportunity in the Opportunity area of the Business Development workspace instead.

To add a new opportunity in the Resource Planning workspace, complete the following steps:
  1. In the Resource Planning workspace, click to go to the Opportunities area.
  2. Click + Add Opportunity next to the Find opportunity field to display the Add Opportunity form.

    This option is only available if you have the access rights that are required to add records.

  3. In NAME, enter a name for the opportunity.
  4. In OPPORTUNITY ID, enter a unique identifier for the opportunity.
  5. In the other fields, enter additional information about the opportunity.
  6. To save the opportunity, click on the Add Opportunity toolbar.
