Track Time Spent on Assigned Tasks

Use the Tasks submodule to track the time that you spend a particular task. You can adjust the time, duration, and details, as needed.

To use Tasks, you must have access to Jobs as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

To start or stop the timer for a task:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Jobs .
  2. In the left pane of the Jobs page, click Jobs List and highlight the job containing the task for which you want to start or stop the timer.
  3. In the left pane of the Jobs page, click Tasks.
  4. On the Tasks page, click the Tasks tab.
  5. In the grid, highlight the task for which you want to start or stop the timer and click Task Settings on the tab toolbar.
  6. On the Task card, click the Basic Settings tab, then click Context Menu > Start/Stop Timer.
    Alternatively, right-click the task and select Start/Stop timer.

  7. To stop the timer, click the clock icon.
  8. In the Time Entry dialog box, specify the required information and click OK.
