Add New Dimension Detail Roles

To use the Dimension detail role setup submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in the Employee cross-company access submodule under Settings.

To add a new dimension detail role:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. In the left pane of the Settings screen, click Dimensions > Dimension Detail Role Setup.
  3. On the grid toolbar, select from the drop-down list the dimension type you want to add a new detail role to.
  4. Click Add and select a Role and Dimension Value from their respective drop-down lists.
  5. You can edit the Dimension Value, Role, and Employee by double-clicking on the corresponding fields.
