Block Journal Types

Use Journal Types in the Finance submodule in the Settings module to block journal types and make them inactive.

To use Journal Types in the Finance submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

To block a journal type:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. If you have more than one Company in your WorkBook system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings page to select the Company that contains the journal type that you want to block.
  3. In the left pane of the Settings page, click Finance > Journal Types.
  4. Click the Journal Types tab.
  5. Highlight the journal type that you want to block, and select the Blocked check box.
