Agent Type 68 - Rebuild All Database Indexes

Use Agent Type 68 - Rebuild All Database Indexes to delete and replace the existing indexing on the database.

Performing an index rebuild on the database:

• Eliminates fragmentation
• Compacts the pages based on the existing fill factor setting to reclaim storage space
• Reorders the index rows into contiguous pages

Note:

• Before you perform this action, ensure that you are aware of the impact it will have on the database.
• Only clients who are hosted on-premises should run this agent. It should not be used by clients who are hosted on Deltek Azure Cloud.
