Agent Type 116 - Notify Job PM and Task Responsible of Milestone If a Task is Passed

Use Agent Type 116 - Notify Job PM and Task Responsible of Milestone If a Task is Passed to automatically add a comment to a task when a milestone task has gone beyond its end date. This comment appears to have been added by the Task Responsible and reads as follows: This milestone is passed xxxx-xx-xx. You can customize the text using the agent parameters.

Before you run this agent, ensure that the milestone task end dates are within 8 days from the date on which the agent will run. After you add a comment to a task via this agent, no other comment can be added to the task. To make sure that this agent does not miss any milestone task, set it to run once a week at a minimum.

To create a milestone task, select the check box when you create a normal task. This locks the end date in place and activates these notifications. You can also convert an existing task to a milestone task by going to the task settings and selecting the Milestone check box under the Basic Settings tab.
