Add a Resource to a Task Using the Suggest Feature

Use the Tasks submodule to add resources to tasks using the Suggest feature.

To use Tasks, you must have access to Jobs as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

To add a resource to a task using the Suggest feature:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Jobs .
  2. Select the job you want to modify, then click Open job from the toolbar.
  3. Click Tasks.
  4. In the Schedule drop-down field, select the schedule you want to modify.
  5. Click the Tasks tab, then select a task.
  6. In the top-right corner, click Booked resources.
  7. On the Booked Resources subgrid, click List View or Matrix View if not already selected.
  8. On the subgrid toolbar, click Add resource.
    Alternatively, click Context menu > Add resource
  9. In the Select Resource field, select a resource.
    The list of resources is grouped into:
    • Optimal
    • By Job Team
    • By Total Capacities
    • (Other categories, if applicable, will be listed.)
  10. In the Booked Hours field, specify the number of hours you want to book for the resource, then click OK.
