Add New Standard Material Types

Use the Material Types submodule to add new standard material types.

To use Material Types in the Price Lists & Activities submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

To add a new standard material type:

1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
2. If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings screen to select the company to which you want to add a new standard material type.
3. In the left pane of the Settings screen, click Price Lists & Activities > Material Types.
4. Click the Standard Material List tab and click Add new material type .
5. In the New Material Type dialog box, enter the name and select a currency from the drop-down list.
6. Click OK.
7. You can edit the different fields by double-clicking on them.
