Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Open the Connect for Gmail Context Pane

While using Vantagepoint with Connect for Gmail, you can open the Context Pane so that you can quickly access your Vantagepoint contact, firm, project, and activity information.

Prerequisite: Install the Connect Add-in for Gmail

To open the Vantagepoint Connect for Gmail Context Pane:

  1. Open Gmail in Chrome.
  2. On the email preview window, click the Vantagepoint button (or your company's custom button).
    Note that selecting the Vantagepoint button (or your company's custom button) will "pin" the pane open so that it is visible at all times. If the Vantagepoint button isn't visible, make sure the Vantagepoint extension is enabled in Chrome.
  3. On the Context Pane, use yourVantagepoint username and password to log in to Vantagepoint.
  4. Click Sign In.
    Use the options on the pane to work with your Vantagepoint records. For details on using the pane with email, contacts, and the calendar, see the Context Pane Quick Reference help topic.
