Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Display the Assign Resources to Project Dialog Box

You display the dialog box from the Plan form in the Projects hub or from Project View in Resource Management.

  1. In the Navigation pane, select one of the following:
    • Hubs > Projects > Plan
    • Resource Management > Project View
  2. Select the project to which you want to assign resources.
  3. If you are making the assignments on the Plan form, click the Labor tab.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • If you want to assign resources to work breakdown structure (WBS) elements in all or many of the plan structure branches, click on the row for the top-level project in the grid, and click in the Level/Resource field in the row. Vantagepoint displays the entire plan WBS in the Assign Resources to Project dialog box.
    • If you want to assign resources to WBS elements in just one branch of the plan structure, click on the row for the parent element for that branch in the grid, and click in the Level/Resource field in the row. Vantagepoint displays just the structure for that branch in the Assign Resources to Project dialog box.

    As an alternative to clicking , you can click at the end of the row and click Assign Resources to open the Assign Resources to Project dialog box.
